Two dimensional (2D) Shape Components include a range of simple design elements. Many Components can be customized via the Parameters Panel. Many of these components are very simple and the purpose of the Parameters is self explanatory so no separate help is supplied. Refer to the 'About..' section of the Parameters panel for assistance.
Vector Shapes
Some objects listed in the Component Panel are not components but are simple vector shapes. To distinguish these vector shapes from other components we have marked the preview with the SWiSH Max2 Shape symbol (
). These vector shapes which can be used separately in the movie or used to modify another component. For example add a play symbol vector shape to a button cap to make a Play button audio control.

2D Shape Categories
2D Shapes have been grouped into general categories:
| · | Callouts (i.e. speech bubbles) Callouts can be used for presentations to highlight points and speech events. |
| · | Shape and Icons Shapes and Icons include commonly used buttons (and button labels) for audio and video controls as well as other more complex designs. |
