SWiSH Max4 and SWiSH miniMax4

Screencasts for new SWiSH Max4 and SWiSH miniMax4 features are coming soon, but in the meantime please review the screencasts for SWiSH Max3/miniMax3 below as the user interface is very similar and the general principles still apply.


SWiSH Max3 and SWiSH miniMax3

Projects Templates were introduced with SWiSH Max3 and miniMax3. The next two screencasts demonstrate how to use a Project Template and gives a simple demonstration on how to get started scripting for the Wizard Panel. This next series of screencasts are also used in our homepage banner. They give a quick overview of the features introduced with SWiSH Max3.
  • Project Templates Demo - Use one of our supplied Project Templates or make your own to sell or share. Project Templates make customisation easy, all you need to do is use the Wizard Panel to fill in the values and export your movie! SWiSH Max3 is required to create templates, which can then also be used in SWiSH miniMax3.
  • Convert Shape to Motion Path Demo - A new and easy way to create a path for another object to move along.
  • Knife Tool Demo - Cutting objects can make new objects or clean up old ones. See how!
  • Shape Operations Demo - It's easier than ever to create complex shapes by combining multiple simple shapes.
  • Component Tool Demo - Make your favourite components quick and easy to select using the new Component Tool.
  • Using Autoshapes - Autoshape Component Demo - New Autoshape components have draggable handles to give quick and easy customisation to commonly used shapes.

  • My First Site - This eight part tutorials series takes you on a tour through most of the features of SWiSH Max2. At the end you will have a fully functional Flash web site while you learn a lot of tips along the way.

  • Load Movie - This SWiSH miniMax2 screencast demonstrates how to make a menu movie that loads sub movies when the appropriate button is pressed. This type of design can save overall loading time as only the pages that are viewed are loaded. A preloader bar is shown while each of the sub pages is loading.   • Simple Audio Mixer - This SWiSH miniMax2 screencast demonstrates how to make a simple audio mixer. A written description of this tutorials is included in the SWiSH miniMax2 help file.
